What is that ?

The COST Action IC0703 “Data Traffic Monitoring and Analysis (TMA): theory, techniques, tools and applications for the future networks” was started on March 2008, with a planned duration of 4 years. It is part of the COST programme (ICT domain) which is now run by the European Science Foundation.

The high-level goal is to build up a community of researchers working on TMA topics.

General information about COST

For general information about the COST program see the official website of the COST office.

The guidelines for implementing individual Actions are provided in a set of documents available here. In particular, the Vademecum is the central document regulating the use of the financial instruments available to the Actions. Each individual COST Action is assigned an annual budget of ca. 100 k€.

Each participating country (or “party” in the COST terminology) nominates a “COST National Coordinator” (CNC). The official list of CNC is available here. Each Action has a Management Committee (MC), whose members (MC delegates and substitutes) are nominated for each country by the respective CNC.

Organization of Action IC0703

The TMA Action started officially in March 2008 with the official code “Action IC0703″. Its baseline document is the “Memorandum of Understanding” (MoU).

The official list of MC members for Action IC0703 can be found on this page (maintained by the COST Office). Besides the official MC delegates, it includes a Chair, a Vice-chair and a Secretary.
